Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. HappyLife also uses your browser's local storage for the same purpose.

They let a site remember something between visits, such as whether you are signed in, or which cookies you have already agreed to.

We keep this to the minimum. Essential cookies run the service: signing you in, keeping your session secure, and remembering that you have already answered the cookie question.

Everything else is optional and only happens if you allow it. There is no tracking on this site before you make a choice.

Essential cookies are required for login, security and core HappyLife functionality, so they cannot be switched off. Without them you would be signed out on every page and the site could not protect your account.

They do not build a profile of you and are never shared with advertising platforms.

Functional: language, remembered preferences and interface settings that personalise your experience.

Analytics: aggregated, de-identified usage and performance metrics that show us what is slow or broken. We do not use them to build a profile of any individual member.

Marketing: campaign measurement and remarketing, and only ever on platforms we have reviewed and approved.

Your matrimonial profile is never handed to an analytics or advertising platform. We do not send religion, community or caste, marital status, horoscope or jathagam details, partner preferences, your mobile number, your email, your contact details, family information, or the content of your private chats.

Where we measure product usage we use generic events such as profile viewed, matches tab opened or connection sent, with no personal attributes attached.

Essential cookies last for your session, or until you sign out. Your cookie choice is remembered for 12 months, after which we ask again.

If an optional category is ever enabled, analytics cookies last up to 13 months and marketing cookies up to 90 days. When you switch a category off we stop the relevant scripts immediately and clear what we can from your browser.

If analytics are enabled, measurement is provided by Google Analytics with IP anonymisation switched on and advertising signals switched off. If marketing is enabled, campaign measurement is provided by Meta.

These providers process data under their own privacy policies, and only ever after you have allowed the relevant category.

You can change or withdraw your choices at any time from Cookie Settings, reachable from the footer of every page, from this policy, and from Account and Privacy settings once you are signed in.

Withdrawal takes effect immediately. There is nothing to uninstall and you do not need to sign out.
